# The Truth vault, the docs that keep what a brand has checked

The Truth vault is a brand's docs: **what the brand has really done and checked**, written down. Every post, every page and every AI answer about the brand is made from it. It is the third part of the [content system](/docs/content-system/introduction), next to the Know - Trust - Love content funnel and the Idea - Write - Edit process.

This page is for the person behind a brand who wants to know what their docs hold, and for a writer or AI agent who needs to know where to get facts before writing.

## What does the Truth vault keep?

The vault keeps one kind of content: **the brand's own facts, checked**. Other people's opinions, content copied from elsewhere and anything not yet sure stay out.

Each item in the vault is something the brand really did, written down. Stories, numbers and experience all come from the real brand, as the system's "no made-up facts" rule says.

That is why the vault is **what every post stands on**: a sentence in a post can be traced back to the vault to show it is true.

The docs have two sections:

- **Method** holds how the brand does its work.
- **Common questions** holds what readers often ask, with checked answers.

The docs address and these two sections are written in the Docs entry of the [brand profile](/docs/content-system/conditions/brand-profile). A section that does not exist yet is written `Not yet`.

## How do facts get into the vault?

Facts get in **two ways**: from raw material once it is checked, and from posts already published.

A recording transcript is the raw material of a post, **not yet part of the Truth vault**. Where the recording leaves a gap, you look into it carefully to fill that gap. Only then do you store it in the docs.

What has not been checked stays outside the vault, even when it is in a recording. Store one unsure thing in the vault and every post made from the vault carries that mistake.

A published post sends one thing back to the vault: what the brand really did through that post gets written down. **Each post leaves the vault fuller** for the next one.

## How do facts come out of the vault?

The Idea - Write - Edit process is **the part that uses the vault**. It needs to know which post to write, which the funnel gives, and which facts to stand on, which the Truth vault gives.

Posts take their facts from the docs, not from memory or from other people's content. Website pages and AI answers about the brand come from the same place, so they all say the same thing.

Without the Truth vault, **each post starts again from memory**. Two posts about the same thing can say it two ways, and there is no place to tell which one is right.

## Example: the cuongthach.com Truth vault

The cuongthach.com Truth vault is the docs at `/docs/vi/`. The Method entry points to three overview pages:

- Content system
- The Know - Trust - Love content funnel
- The Idea - Write - Edit process

Common questions exist only for Idea - Write - Edit. The Know - Trust - Love funnel and the Write to Sell course are still marked `Not yet`.
