In the Positioning stage, AI **organizes what you say about yourself**. In the Selling stage, AI and MCP **quickly build funnels, sales pages and emails** from templates. ## In the Positioning stage ![In the Positioning stage](https://cuongthach.com/docs/_nimbus/md/1gcf0wn/illus-docs-ai-sap-xep-khai-bao.en.svg "You speak, AI only organizes") In the Positioning stage, AI prompts have one main job, which is **to organize what you say about yourself**. You are the core of the core product, so you are the one who speaks. AI helps you brainstorm, rethink, and sum it all up in a tidy order. ### What does AI do and not do? | AI does | You do | | --- | --- | | Sorts what you say into clear groups | Say who you are, your expertise, your drive, your edge | | Asks questions so you rethink and say more | Decide your core product | | Sums up what you said into a short version | Choose the dream customer you want to serve | At this stage, AI **only helps you see more clearly. It does not do the work for you**. Only you know who you are. AI cannot get inside your head, and it cannot follow the long story of your life. You must be the one to define everything about yourself, and the product must come from you. ### You choose the dream customer Your dream customers are the people you **want to serve**. For example, you may want to serve intellectuals. You have to say that wish yourself. No AI and no prompt can pick this group for you. Once you have said it, AI can help you organize it and put it in shorter words. But the choice is still yours. ### How do you use the prompts? 1. **Declare first.** Say or write everything you know about yourself: your field, your desires, your strengths, the road you have walked. Speaking is often easier than writing. 2. **Hand it to AI to sort.** Paste what you declared with the prompt, so AI groups it, asks follow-up questions and sums it up. 3. **Read it back and fix it.** Every sentence in the summary must be true of you. Drop any sentence AI added that you never said. 4. **Save it in the Digital brain.** The approved version is the material for your home page, about page and product page. ### The positioning assistant in the Digital brain The [Digital brain template](https://cuongthach.com/docs/write-to-sell/resources/tools/digital-brain-template) comes with AI assistants whose prompts are written for each job, running right on the data you have recorded. In the Positioning stage, you mostly use 2 of them, shown in the table below. | Assistant | What it does in the Positioning stage | | --- | --- | | Positioning assistant | Interviews you with 3 questions: who you **are**, what you **have**, what you need to **do** | | Source assistant | Turns what you said out loud into clear bullet points, without hesitations or extra words | The positioning assistant also keeps you on topic, which means what you write later has to stay in line with the career map you made clear in this stage. Each prompt needs 2 inputs: 1. **A template** of the funnel or of the page. 2. **A content statement** that fits your product. From these 2 things, the prompt quickly creates the [gift funnel](https://cuongthach.com/docs/write-to-sell/selling/concepts/gift-funnel) and the [sales funnel](https://cuongthach.com/docs/write-to-sell/selling/concepts/sales-funnel), plus the related pages, including the pages of the content system. ## MCP does the tasks for you ![MCP does the tasks for you](https://cuongthach.com/docs/_nimbus/md/19sw2dc/illus-docs-duong-ham-quen-tay.en.svg "MCP shortens the time it takes to learn the tasks") MCP is **the way you use AI to give orders** for tasks on your website. In [stage 3](https://cuongthach.com/docs/write-to-sell/selling/introduction), you use it to build funnels, sales pages and emails faster while you are still new to the platform. ### What does MCP skip? If you do everything by hand, you spend a lot of time learning design, setup, website management and more. MCP skips that part. What MCP shortens is **the time it takes to get used to the tasks**. You still need to understand how things are done, and the coaching program gives you the overview and the how-to. The hands-on tasks are hard until you get used to them, and MCP does those tasks for you.
