The smallest basic funnel has only three posts: one Know post, one Trust post and one Love post. The Love post leads straight to the product page. You don’t need to write dozens of posts before you start selling.
Pick what sets you apart
Pick a few core things that set you apart and are tied to you: your know-how, your real experience, your natural strengths. This is the root of the whole funnel.
Write the Love post
Write a full solution to your customer’s pain, built from what sets you apart in step 1. At the end of the post, lead readers to the product page.
Write one Trust post
Look at the Love post, pick a leg of the road that is hard on the technical side, then write a hands-on, step-by-step guide for that leg. At the end of the post, lead readers to the Love post.
Write one Know post
From the Trust post, pull the “what is it” and “why” questions out into a post of their own. At the end of the post, lead readers on to the Trust post.
You should see
Three linked posts. Click the link at the end of the Know post and you go to the Trust post. Click the link at the end of the Trust post and you go to the Love post. Click the link at the end of the Love post and you go to the product page.
That is one complete path: readers get their problem named, make a result with their own hands, then see the full solution to buy.
Next step
Build the funnel from your product’s core explains why you go in this order and how to check that the funnel is fully linked.
