Can articles written by AI sell your product?

AI tools promise new posts every day, all on their own. But do those posts sell? Write to Sell starts from your product, and lets AI do only what it does well.

The root of your content: SEO keywords or product?

Automated AI writing starts from keywords. The most common mistake is to load in a pile of loosely related keywords and hope AI will sort and group them. The site gets thin and drifts off topic, and algorithms show no mercy.

AI also does not know the intentions you built into your product. It scrapes by keyword or from old content, so what it writes is hit or miss. Only the parent of a product understands it.

Write to Sell starts from your product. You position your content from the product, and keywords only come later to support it.

Where the value comes from: the tool or you?

Google does not ban content made with AI help, as long as it carries value. Automated AI writing only has the general knowledge found online. Real value comes from 3 things only people have, and Write to Sell helps you put them into every post.

Imagination

The strength of a person lies in imagination, the nerve to think what others call crazy.

Experience

AI has no memories. When it tells of a hardship, it is someone else's story posted online, not yours.

Emotion

AI only imitates feelings: it is never truly sad or glad. When you write sad or excited, your words change on their own, and readers feel it.

Can a good prompt replace you?

A good prompt and a sample of your voice are only a few pages long. Your life experience, with its memories, stories and everything you have been through, is far longer.

AI cannot walk into your head and pull those things out to write. You can pull them out right away.

It is like hand-pulled noodles: a factory makes the same taste every time, while the shop of a cook with a recipe of their own is full.

Quantity or quality?

Automated AI writing wins on quantity. But anyone who pays can buy the tool, so when everyone uses the same tool, the posts tend to look alike.

Google says it plainly too: making pages in bulk that give readers no value can break Google's spam policy.

Write to Sell chooses quality. More posts do not mean more customers. The Content system helps you write less and sell more, with posts made on purpose.

What customers see: AI content or a person making an effort?

Customers are wary of AI content. A Raptive study of 3,000 U.S. adults (July 2025) found that when readers think a post was written by AI, their trust drops by almost half, and they are about 14% less willing to buy the products advertised next to it (source).

Write to Sell lets customers see a person making an effort. People like a creator, an owner, a seller who tries hard. They do not like a lazy seller.

Lessons from big brands

Six big brands and platforms learned a lesson from using AI content, and changed how they work.

Your brand: fading or growing?

Automated AI writing can make your brand fade. When a tool decides the content, your site can lose your spirit, while you still pay for the tool, the website and the domain.

The big AI brands still make people answer for their content: the companies behind Claude and Gemini, and Cloudflare too, all name the real people who write their blog posts.

And you, are you letting AI write for you and answer for you?

Anthropic (Claude)

Posts on Anthropic's engineering blog name the people who wrote them, such as the post on building AI agents, December 2024.

Google (Gemini)

Google's blog has a page for each author, with their name and job title, such as Sundar Pichai or Demis Hassabis.

Cloudflare

Every post on Cloudflare's blog names the engineer who wrote it.

Write to Sell builds your brand with every post

Write to Sell is not a way of writing sales posts like ads to close an order. It is the spirit of explaining: helping customers understand the product, follow what you teach, and then buy naturally, with no pushing. If you run a business alone, what you sell is really yourself, so the content you write yourself builds two brands: a personal brand and a product brand.

Every post has a purpose and a place on the map of the Know - Trust - Love content funnel: it leads customers from not knowing you, to trusting you, and then to loving the person who made the product. Once they love you, they still buy even when the product is not perfect, and they give feedback instead of turning away.

With AI search: lost in the crowd or cited?

Buyers now often ask AI directly. Google's AI mode and ChatGPT answer for the searcher, but the answer still has to come from sources, and Google cites the source sites.

Content made in bulk by AI easily gets lost in the crowd, because it looks like all other content. Write to Sell helps AI find you. You write the truth about your own product and cover a topic fully, so a person who digs 4 or 5 questions deep still meets you in the citations, then clicks to see who you are.

The role of AI: writes for you or helps you write?

Write to Sell does not turn AI away. Some AI posts are very good, like analysis posts. The rule is that AI does what AI does best, and people do what people do best.

Automated AI writing: it writes for you

You only press a button, and your ideas are lost.

  • Makes the outline and script by itself
  • Writes and edits by itself
  • Researches rivals and the market by itself
  • Makes the images by itself

Write to Sell: AI helps you write

You decide, and your ideas always stay.

  • Make images
  • Analyze numbers and cross-check them
  • Polish the wording
  • Check SEO, repeated words and word count

Do not split it as 90 posts written by AI and 10 written by you. Those 90 do not match your style, and the quality is uneven. A reader enjoying your good post who clicks over to an AI post loses interest and leaves.

Write to Sell has formulas to get you off the blank page, like the Idea - Write - Edit process, and AI only does side work at each step, following the AI and sample prompts page.

Why I still choose to write myself

Hand everything to AI and you slide backward day by day. AI gets better every day, while you stop practicing, until it slowly replaces you. In the end you are no longer a content creator, and you no longer know how to talk about your own product.

Write for real, learn for real and do the work for real, and what you know only adds up. Content works the same way. You build slowly at first, with no 200 posts overnight, but every post adds up and changes with your product, because no product is perfect from day one.

If you want to be different, there is no other road than training yourself. The Write to Sell course is made for exactly that: so you sell with your own real skill, without leaning on tools or racing them.

Frequently asked questions

  • Does AI writing get you onto Google faster?

Maybe at first: many posts bring some traffic, and some searchers visit your site. But the traffic fades, and mass-produced posts with nothing different about them can even get a site penalized or dropped from the index.

  • What if AI writes better than I do?

If your skill is not there yet, AI really does write better right now. But when you reread it, it still feels a bit off, and you yawn as you read. If you let AI write for you, AI gets better and better while you slide backward, because you stop practicing. If you write every day, your knowledge only builds upward.

  • What if I have already published many AI posts?

Keep the posts that get traffic and rewrite them with your real experience. Delete the ones nobody searches for or reads, because they hurt your brand. If you do not want to touch the old site yet, leave it and put your effort into a new personal brand site.

  • I work in tech and I do not like writing. Can I learn?

Yes. Making a website is easy, and content is the hard part. You do not need a gift for literature: if you do not like writing, speak instead, and treat writing like writing code. At first, do not worry about good or bad. Care about getting better every day.

  • What if I avoid both writing and speaking?

Then you practice. There is no faster road than training. Find the way that suits you best and practice that way. Once words show up on the screen, you have already succeeded.

  • Should I write before my product is perfect?

Yes. No product is perfect from day one, and content changes with the product. Customers who love the person behind the product still buy, and they give feedback to make it better instead of turning away.

  • Is the writing trade about to end?

I do not think so. On the contrary, writing is a rare trade in the age of AI: when everyone uses AI to write, the person who writes alone stands out.

  • Is learning Write to Sell hard?

Yes, a little. Content builds up over time, and you do not suddenly have 200 posts. But the effort is worth it: you sell by your own real strength, and you do not depend on a tool.
